Long before A Gothic Universe existed, Luna knew what it felt like to be different.
She grew up feeling like the black sheep, drawn to witches, the supernatural, alternative fashion, and things the people around her didn't always understand.
Years later, after losing the photography career that had given her independence, Luna began selling from home through Poshmark. What started as a way to rebuild became something unexpected: a community.
As she shared more of the darker and alternative things she loved, some people rejected her for it.
But others finally felt seen.
Luna created The Black Roses, a community where people drawn to alternative styles could connect without having to explain themselves. Again and again, she heard how much it meant to have somewhere they weren't judged for what they loved.
That planted an idea:
Why shouldn't there be a store built for us?
Not one aesthetic. Not one definition of gothic. A universe big enough for all of it.
