Long before A Gothic Universe existed, Luna knew what it felt like to be different.
She grew up feeling like the black sheep, drawn toward witches, the supernatural, alternative fashion, and ideas that didn't always fit the world around her. For years, even the way she dressed could be controlled by other people.
Finding the freedom to express herself changed that.
Then life changed again.
After losing the photography career that had given her independence, Luna began selling things from home through Poshmark. What started as a way to rebuild eventually became something much bigger.
She discovered a community.
And when Luna began selling the darker, stranger, more alternative things she loved, something unexpected happened. Some people rejected her for it.
But others finally felt seen.
Those were her people.
As Luna's alternative Poshmark community grew, people began telling her how good it felt to have somewhere they could shop without feeling judged.
That stayed with her.
She created a group called The Black Roses, a place where people drawn to alternative styles could connect without having to explain themselves.
And eventually one thought became impossible to ignore:
Why shouldn't there be a store built specifically for us?
Not one aesthetic.
Not one definition of gothic.
Not another store telling people what alternative is supposed to look like.
A universe big enough for all of it.
That's where A Gothic Universe began.
A Gothic Universe isn't built by filling a catalog with anything that happens to look dark.
